The University of Maryland awarded Minkoff Company a $5,250,000 contract to design and execute the renovation of Anne Arundel Hall, a five-story dormitory building on the University’s College Park campus. Originally constructed in the 1930s, Anne Arundel Hall had not been upgraded or improved even once before Minkoff Company’s 12-month comprehensive renovation and remodeling project.
The remodeling work covered a total of 35,814 square feet. During the rebuilding process, all mechanical, electrical, elevator, security, and fire safety systems were replaced. Many of the distinctive architectural features were restored, all while maintaining the architectural integrity of the College Park campus.
The renovated facility is now a showplace for the campus, housing 100 students, the University’s prestigious Honors Program, and a variety of offices, seminar rooms, and a reception area.
