$950,000 Fire Restoration
Government Funded

Coincidentally, this massive fire occurred just 12 hours after the blaze at DC’s Eastern Market, just seven miles away.

The building, a 1935 Georgian revival mansion was known for its collections of local history such as maps and paintings of the neighborhood and individual files on each home in Georgetown that have been donated over the decades.

Minkoff was immediately brought on to stabilize the structure.  Tasks included removal of damaged structural steel and other hazardous building elements.  Additionally, electrical and mechanical systems were isolated and made safe.
